PUERTO RICO: IN/OUT (2019)
PUERTO RICO: IN/OUT was a regional exhibition and community event to raise awareness about the impacts of Hurricane Maria on the island. The exhibition featured ten contemporary Puerto Rican artists, making work to address the overlapping realities of economic upheaval, political marginalization, proto-colonialism, and climate disaster. The exhibition featured a companion community event, to bolster solidarity for the Puerto Rican community living in Los Angeles, who felt distant from their home country.
